CIBOOK is built on one principle: what is sealed stays sealed. What is preserved is preserved completely.

CIBOOK is a long-term cultural archive that preserves a defined set of participant contributions for a future generation.

The archive is limited to 1,000 selected individuals across ten fields. Each field has a fixed capacity. Once that capacity is reached, the field closes.

Each participant contributes two elements: one portrait and one written message featuring a prediction. Those contributions are prepared for inclusion in CIBOOK’s physical Master Volume, which is planned for sealed burial in New York City in 2030 and opening in 2130.

CIBOOK is not an attempt to predict what the future will be. It is a way to preserve how people with lasting influence understood their world while they were living in it.

What makes CIBOOK distinct

CIBOOK is neither a conventional publication nor a media platform. It is a defined cultural record with a fixed participant limit, a fixed burial horizon, and a planned future opening.

Participants retain ownership of their own contributions. CIBOOK receives only the rights needed to preserve, produce, and steward the archive in accordance with its non-commercial mission.

The project is being developed so that its continuity does not depend on one person, one company, or one technology. Its long-term operation is intended to be supported by written participant agreements, preservation procedures, institutional custody, and a documented succession framework.

CIBOOK is limited to 1,000 participants across ten fields. Each field has a defined capacity, and participation is by invitation. The project will not expand beyond its stated limit.

Participant Control
Participants retain copyright and intellectual property rights in their contributions. CIBOOK receives only the limited permissions required to preserve, produce, and steward the archive.

Sealed Content
Contributions are not published, disclosed, or editorially rewritten before 2130. Any handling required for secure production, preservation, legal compliance, or continuity is subject to restricted procedures.

Non-Commercial Purpose
Participation is never sold. Contributions are not used for advertising, endorsements, merchandising, or DECA MEDIA’s commercial activity without separate permission.

Neutral Stewardship
CIBOOK does not endorse participants, governments, political parties, or institutions. Inclusion records a contribution; it does not create affiliation, approval, or shared views.
