These Terms of Use apply only to www.cibook.org (the “CIBOOK Website”). CIBOOK is a non-commercial cultural archive initiative produced by DECA MEDIA LLC (“DECA,” “we,” “us”). These Terms govern use of the CIBOOK Website only.

2. Use of the Website
You agree to use the CIBOOK Website for lawful purposes.

- submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- interfere with site operations or security
3. Participant Submissions and Permissions
If you submit materials through the CIBOOK Website or by email in connection with CIBOOK, you represent you have the rights to submit them.

You grant DECA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, store, back up, archive, and internally process submitted materials for CIBOOK operations.
No public release of sealed content without written permission.
DECA will not publish or publicly display sealed participant content unless you provide written permission under the participant agreement or other written approval.
The participant agreement controls.
If you sign a participant agreement, its terms control in the event of conflict with these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
The CIBOOK Website content, design, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to DECA and protected by law.
Participant-submitted materials remain owned by the participant, subject to the limited license described above and the participant agreement.
6. Links and Third-Party Services
The CIBOOK Website may link to third-party websites or tools. DECA is not responsible for third-party content or practices.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The CIBOOK Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” DECA disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DECA is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
9. Termination
DECA may suspend or terminate access to the CIBOOK Website at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by New York law.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the CIBOOK Website will be resolved by confidential arbitration in New York City under AAA rules.
